The Canvas Floating Frame is the perfect finishing touch to a canvas art piece. Ideally, the canvas will fit down into the frame with an 3/16" space between all four sides of the canvas and the frame. This spacing helps to create the illusion that the canvas is 'floating'. The material consists of new, solid wood (pine or fir variety). This L-shaped moulding measures 1.38" x 1" (H x W) with a 3/4" border surrounding the canvas. This moulding is also available in 1.87” x 1” (H x W). At checkout, please leave in special instructions if you need a different depth cut for your canvas (example: 3/4", 7/8", etc). The listing prices shown are valid up to 1.5" canvas depth. All floating frame orders will be assembled and shipped for a 1” or 1.5" canvas unless otherwise indicated in the special instructions.
